The CR-1 Digital Non-Mydriatic Retinal Camera features an optical system that achieves detailed, high resolution diagnostic images of the retina for accurate detection and monitoring of ocular conditions including diabetic retinopathy, glaucome, and macular degeneration. The high pixel count of the attached EOS digital SLR camera delivers detailed image quality even when magnified.

The CR-1 camera coupled with Synemed's "EyeScape" digital imaging software produces an image which is displayed immediately after being taken allowing  your eye care professional to review it quickly. The "EyeScape" software also allows your doctor to manipulate and analyze your images to enhance his or her diagnostic and therapeutic skills.

The CR-1 camera can also be used with Synemed's "EyeScreen" wellness and screening module. This allows for permenant documentation of your retinal status. These pictures are taken quickly and comfortably, and often take the place of dilation during wellness examinations. Also, patients receive a copy of their images for their records.
