| It is the policy of these medical practices that we adopt, maintain and comply with our Notice of Privacy Practices, which shall be consistent with Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act of 1996 (HIPAA) and California law. It is also a policy of these medical practices that a notice of privacy practices must be published, that this notice be provided to all patients at the first encounter if possible, and that all uses and disclosures of protected health information will be done in accord with these organizations' Notice of Privacy Practices.
